Samsung SSP Quickstart Guide

This installation guide provides all the relevant information required to power Eyemagnet’s Display software on Samsung Smart Signage Platform (SSSP) enabled business displays.

There are two versions of Samsung SSP (SSSP) displays depending on the model of screens, the SSSP6 & 7 displays are most easily identifiable by the light colour user interface (UI). SSSP10 displays are identifiable by a dark blue UI.

Samsung SSP6 & 7: On-Screen Quick Start

Once the screen is mounted and powered on, please follow the on-screen setup instructions using the settings provided below:

  1. Select English as your desired language.
  2. Select Basic screen setup
  3. Select the following options
    a. Select Landscape or Portrait depending on your desired Display Orientation
    b. Select Off on the Auto Power Off
  4. Select Wired or Wireless connectivity
    i. If Wireless connectivity is selected, follow the on-screen instructions to set up
    your network
  5. Select URL Launcher from the Play via page
    a. Enter https://cdn.eyemagnet.com/samsung/v1
  6. Select Skip on the RM Server page
  7. Enter the correct Date and Time in 24-hour format on the Clock Set page

Setting the time and date correctly is critical as requests to various cloud resources may be blocked if these settings are incorrect. In addition, the display may show the wrong content if your time and date settings are incorrect.

Samsung SSP10: On-Screen Quick Start

  1. Select Hi to set English as your desired language.
  2. Select Wired or Wireless connectivity.
    i. If Wireless connectivity is selected, follow the on-screen instructions to set up
    your network
  3. Select OK for Privacy Notices
  4. Select Basic Setup option.
  5. Select the following options
    a. Select Landscape or Portrait depending on your desired Display Orientation
    b. Select Off on the Auto Power Off
  6. Select Custom App from the Play via page
    a. Enter https://cdn.eyemagnet.com/samsung/v1
  7. Select Skip on the RM Server page.
  8. Enter the correct Date and Time in 24-hour format on the Clock Set page
  9. Leave the Set Pin fields blank and select Next
  10. Select Custom App to Launch Eyemagnet App
