Samsung SSP Cloning Product Settings
This guide will show you how to clone TV settings from one Samsung device to another using a USB flash drive
To use this guide, you will need a USB flash drive with at least 8GB of storage, formatted in either FAT32 or NTFS.
Clone files generated by a Samsung display product will only be compatible with the same model of screen and using the same firmware version.
USB port Location
The diagram below shows the USB port location for most Samsung display products. Some products may have the port located elsewhere, details for this can be found on the respective product page of the Samsung display solutions website.

Creating a Clone File
To create a clone file you need to set up the Samsung display with the correct settings when using Eyemagnet Display software. The instructions for these settings can be found within the Samsung SSP Quickstart Guide.
To create the clone file:
- Plug the USB drive into the rear of the TV
- Press Home on the remote control
- Navigate to Clone Product
- Select Export
If you see the error “Settings not exported”. Check the device’s external storage connection and try again as your USB may not be connected properly, be incompatible or may not be formatted correctly. Please check your USB is formatted in either FAT32 or NTFS.
Cloning product settings
Once you have created a clone file on one Samsung display, follow the steps below to import the product settings onto the target device.
To import a clone file:
- Plug the USB into the rear of the TV
- Press Home on the remote control
- Navigate to Clone Product
- Select Import
If the cloning process fails, please check the device’s firmware and model match those of the screen where the clone file was generated from. If you need to update the device’s firmware this process is detailed in the Samsung SSP Firmware Update Guide.
Cloning product settings (Quick Start Menu)
This section describes the steps to clone the product settings of a brand new display, using the on-screen setup guide.

If you also need to complete a firmware update, we recommend cloning the settings using the older firmware first, then follow the firmware update process afterwards.
