The following article outlines how to view and understand the information that the Device Summary provides.

Device Type Summary

The Device Type Summary provides a list of all Device types that belong to your Client Network. The table displays the types of Devices and the total number of each Device and its Status.

 

View the Device Type Summary Table

To view and use the Device Summary Table, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Dashboard page and navigate to the Device Summary panel located in the bottom right-hand corner of the page.
  2. Clicking on a Device Type will take you to the Device List page pre-filtered by the selected Device Type.

To view the chart in full-screen mode, click the Expansion icon in the top right-hand corner of the panel. Click the Expansion icon again to return out of full-screen mode.

 

Table Definitions

  • Device Type: The type of Device(s) that are currently on your network.

  • Online: Number of Devices that are currently active on your network.

  • Offline: Number of Devices that are not currently active on your network.

  • Spare: Number of Devices that have been marked spare on your network.

  • Total: Total number of Devices that are on your network.
