The following article outlines how to view and understand Device Events.

Device Events

Device Events are recorded when a Device is reported either online or offline. The Device Events panel displays information, such as the status, time and date of an event and the Device's name.

Viewing the Device Events panel

To view and use the Device Events panel, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Dashboard page and navigate to the Device Events panel located in the bottom left-hand corner of the page.
  2. The Status column displays one of two icons:
    1. Green WiFi icon: A Device has been reported as up or online.
    2. Red No WiFi icon: A Device has been reported as down or offline.
  3. The Event At column displays the time the event was recorded.
  4. The Device column displays the name of the Device and a description of the event.
  5. Clicking on any Device will take you to the Device Details page.

The Device Events table divides the data into dates with separation between days to make scrolling through the events and finding a specific date efficient.

To view the chart in full-screen mode, click the Expansion icon in the top right-hand corner of the panel. Click the Expansion icon again to return out of full-screen mode.
