# Device Comments

## The following article outlines how to post, edit and delete a Comment on a Device Entry.

### Post a Comment

To post a comment on a Device, follow these steps:

1. Go to the **Device List** page and click on a **Device** to open the Device Details.
2. Scroll down to the **Device Comments** section.
3. Write a comment into the **Comment** **Field**.
4. Click the **Post** button.
5. The comment will now show up in the Device Comments section.

### Edit a Comment

To edit a comment on a Device, follow these steps:

1. Go to the **Device List** page and click on a **Device** to open theDevice Details.
2. Scroll down to the **Device Comments** section.
3. Click the **Edit** link on your comment.
4. Edit your comment.
5. Click the **Save** link or to cancel, click the **Cancel** button.
6. Your comment will now be updated.

You can only edit the comments you have posted.

### Delete a Comment

To delete a comment on a Device, follow these steps:

1. Go to the **Device List** page and click on a **Device** to open theDevice Details.
2. Scroll down to the **Device Comments** section.
3. Click the **Delete** link on your comment.
4. A pop-up modal will appear.
5. Click the **Delete** button or to cancel, click the **Cancel** button.
6. Your comment will now be removed from the Device Comments section.

You can only delete the comments you have posted.
