Navigate the Remote Interface
The following article outlines how to access and navigate between the Home, Channel and Playlist pages in the Remote App.
Navigating through the Remote App pages
The Remote App is separated into three key areas; the Home page, the Channels page, and the Playlist page.

Home page
When you first log in to the Remote App, you will be automatically directed to the Home Page. The Home page is where you can find all of your Screens and Devices in one place.
The various components of this page are:
- Teams Switcher: If you manage multiple Client Networks, you can click on the team icon in the top left-hand corner to choose another network to manage.
- Light/Dark mode: located a the bottom of the sidebar menu. Clicking the Sun/Moon icon changes the remote app theme from light to dark.
- Log out: located at the bottom of the sidebar menu. Clicking the Log Out icon will log you out.
- Search Bar: located in the top right-hand corner of the Screen Grid.
- Refresh: located to the right of the search bar. Clicking the Refresh icon will refresh the page and will update the Screen Grid.
- Screen Grid: shows all the screens and Devices on your Client Network. Clicking on a Screen or Device will open the Channels page.

The Teams Switcher is only relevant if you manage multiple Client Networks - for example, a retail team and a corporate team.
Channel pages
From the Home page, you can access a Screen or Devices Channel page by clicking one of the Screen Grid entries. The layout is similar to the Home page, but all of the content is specific to the chosen Device.
The various components of this page are:
- Search Bar: located in the top right-hand corner of the Channel Grid.
- Refresh: located to the right of the search bar. Clicking the Refresh icon will refresh the page and will update the Channel Grid.
- Device Triage: to access the Device Triage tool, click on the Remote Icon located to the right of the Refresh Icon. This opens a sidebar on the right-hand side. For more information, see Device Triage.
- Channel Grid: provides previews of the Channels and Schedules available for the Screen or Device.

Playlist Schedule Page
The Playlist Schedule page can be accessed by clicking a Channel within a Screen or Device. The Playlist Schedule is a Channel specific page and therefore the content varies between Channels.
The various components of this page are:
- Search Bar: located in the top right-hand corner of the Playlist Schedule Grid.
- Refresh: located to the right of the search bar. Clicking the Refresh icon will refresh the page and will update the Channel Grid.
- Device Triage: to access the Device Triage tool, click on the Remote Icon located to the right of the Refresh Icon. This opens a sidebar on the right-hand side. For more information, see Device Triage.
- Template Preview: a window providing a visual preview of the different Layer Windows that a screen has been separated into.
- Layers List: provides a list of the different Layer Windows available for the Playlist Schedule.
- Playlist Entries: provides a list of Playlist entries that have been set up in the CMS. If the Playlist Schedule has multiple Windows, the list will only show the Playlist entries assigned to the selected Layer Window.

When you select a Layer Window, it will highlight within the Template Preview.
