Manage multiple Channels

The following article outlines how to set up and manage multiple Channels within a Screen using the Content Management System, to display with the Remote App.


Assigning multiple Channels to a single Screen

To assign multiple Channels to a single Screen using the CMS, follow these steps:

  1. On the screens page, click the Screen you wish to alter.
  2. Click on the Current Channel field. A sidebar will appear on the right-hand side of the screen with a list of Channels to select from.
  3. Select one or more channels from the channel library and then click the Select button at the bottom of the sidebar.
  4. Reorder the channels by selecting a channel in the Current Channel field and dragging the channel to a new position in the list.
  5. Click the Save button, at the bottom right-hand corner of the Screen.

 


View changes in the Remote App

To reload and view the updated channels in the Remote App, Follow these steps:

  1. Open the Remote App and Navigate to the Home or Screens page.
  2. Click the name or image of the screen that you just altered in the CMS.
  3. Navigate your mouse to the Refresh icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
  4. This will pull the data from the CMS, reloading the data with the new Channel configuration.
  5. You will now be able to view your updated Channels and Channel positions.

Screens and Devices check for the latest schedule every five to ten minutes.
