The following article outlines how to use the Remote App to change Playlist Entries within a Channel.


Playlist Entries

A Playlist Entry can be found within a Playlist Schedule on the Remote App and can be configured using the Content Management System (CMS).

Change a Playlist Entry (Single Window Template)

Changing a Playlist Entry updates the content playing on a Screen.

To change Playlist Entries on a Screen, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Home page and click on a Screen.
  2. Next, click the Channel you want to update.
  3. Click the Play Now button next to a Playlist Entry.
  4. A notification will appear at the bottom of the page stating that the Remote App is Setting Playlist Position.
  5. Your display will start playing the selected Playlist Entry.

 


Change a Playlist Entry (Multi-Window Template)

Changing a Playlist Entry updates the content playing on a Screen.

To change Playlist Entries on a Screen, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Home page and click on a Screen.
  2. Next, click the Channel you want to update.
  3. In the Layers section, select which Layer Window you want to update. The Playlist Entries will update to what has been configured in the CMS.
  4. Click the Play Now button next to a Playlist Entry.
  5. A notification will appear at the bottom of the page stating that the Remote App is Setting Playlist Position.
  6. Your display will start playing the selected Playlist Entry.
