How To: Convert from MagicInfo/VXT to Eyemagnet

This article shows how to change a Samsung SOC screen from Samsung's MagicInfo or VXT Player to use Eyemagnet app.

  1. Exit the current application on the screen to switch to HDMI1
  2. Press Menu/Settings on the remote
  3. On the left panel, select System, then press right to scroll down to the 'Play via' setting
  4. Change this setting to 'Custom App or URL Launcher'
  5. Scroll back up to 'Auto Source Switching'
  6. Under Auto Source Switching, choose 'Preset Input', then set Primary Source to 'HDMI1' and Secondary Source to 'Custom App' or 'URL Launcher'
  7. Exit the Settings menu and press Home on the remote
  8. Go into 'App Management' or 'URL Launcher settings'
  9. Type in 'https://cdn.eyemagnet.com/samsung/v1', then select 'Go'

A common error for the app to not install on the screen is due to no network connection or time not set on the screen. You can verify if the screen has as network connection and the time is set via the Settings menu
