# Search for Playlists

## The following article outlines how to search through the Playlist Library.

### Search for a Playlist

To search for a Playlist, follow these steps:

1. Click on the **Search** icon at the top of the Playlist Library. This will display a free-text field with the ability to search for Playlists by name.
2. Start typing into the name field. The Playlist Library will dynamically update to display the relevant Playlist.
3. Next, you can enhance your search by clicking on the **Parameter** icon next to the name field.
4. Then, select one of five options: 
     1. **Contains:** this option will only display items that include the text you have written.
     2. **Matches exactly:** this option will only display items that match exactly the text you have written.
     3. **Begins with:** this option will only display items that begin with the text you have written.
     4. **Ends with:** this option will only display items that end with the text you have written.
     5. **Excludes:** this option will only display items that do not include the text you have written.
5. The Playlist Library will now be updated with the parameters you have set.
6. To reset the Playlist Library, simply remove the text you have written.

By default, the search field is set to the **Contains** parameter.
