Navigate the CMS

The Content Management System (CMS) navigation makes it easy to find, organise and schedule your media. The following article outlines how to navigate the various areas of the interface.


Navigation Bar

Along the top of the interface, there are various menu options for the CMS.

  1. Hamburger Menu: expands and collapses the sidebar.

  2. Account: menu options to Change Password, Change Client and Log Out.

  3. Recent Activity: displays the following activities (sorted in order of time):

    • Users logging in.

    • Creation or deletion of a Media Item, Playlist or Channel.

    • Modification of a Media Item, Playlist, Channel or Screen.

Clicking on an entry in the Recent Activity dropdown will open the relevant area in the CMS.

 


Sidebar navigation

All content management and configuration pages to navigate the CMS live along the side of the interface.

  1. Dashboard: change Default Channels and Emergency Channels and view lists of all the active Channels, Playlists and Media in your Client Network.

  2. Media: upload and configure Media Items.

  3. Playlists: create collections of your Media Items.

  4. Channels: create and manage Schedules.

  5. Screens: manage and configure Screen settings.

  6. Locations: create and manage the locations of your client network.

  7. Templates: create all your Screen layouts and media windows.

  8. User Guide: opens a new tab in your browser, where the relevant documentation for the CMS lives.
