Changing Network Connection Type Guide

This article describes how to change network type on Samsung Smart Signage Platform (SSP) enabled business displays.

You will require the Samsung remote control that came with the screen to carry out the below steps.

 

  1. On the remote press Menu or Settings
  2. Navigate to Network, then Open Network Settings
  3. The screen will prompt you to select the Network Type you would like to use to connect, Wireless or Wired.
  4. Once you have selected the desired Network Type, press enter, the screen will prompt you for a password if you have selected Wireless.
  5. Once the screen is connected, it will check the connection for a Internet access and give a visual confirmation
  6. Once successfully connected, Press Home and Select the Eyemagnet App to return to the desired content.
Note: The Screen does not automatically priorities a wired connection over a Wireless connection, it will use whatever you set it to.
